Summary

Sugary, colorful sports and hydration drinks have been marketed to us since the '60s. They help you run faster, play harder and achieve your ultimate game. Don't they? Well, no, not really. In fact, pumping your body full of sugar is counterproductive to living a fit and healthy lifestyle. But we need electrolytes, so what should we be hydrating with after a workout?

as it relates to hydration. Fun fact here about one that you know very well and that is Gator Aid. So scientist at the University of Florida developed this drink in 1965 with the aim of boosting

There you go. How cool is that? Unfortunately, we all know that Gatorade is not that great and we're going to dive into some of that stuff. So D Dara Hung, an MD, and as a kidney specialist, says that dehydration is the body's natural loss of water through sweat, tears, and breathing.
