Hey Atlas Subspara, this is Piper calling in from currently Brooklyn, New York, but I want to tell you about a

stoozy scary place that I grew up visiting as a kid in my hometown just outside of New York City in

Marchmont, York. There is a Shell Drake Lake Reservoir that had a small pond attached to it that for so many years, over a century, it was used as an ice pond.

There's an old ice house out there, and there's also a home of the man who managed this pond throughout the year.

His name was Mr Good Life.

The pond is now called Good Life Pond.

The kids, if you go and walk around this lake and we go check out the abandoned ice factory as he referred to it.

And it was so rusty and gooky and what was so eerie about it as he stepped inside the old house and office where Mr Goodlife lived and worked

Is that his everything was there it was as if he just walked out and the room was never touched ever again.

His mug still had coffee stains in it.

He was little typing something on his typewriter.

And sure enough, in his office,

was part of the Ice House.

There was a door that just let out into nothingness.

It actually just let out into the open air.

As it goes, it's that one day he opened up this door and he stepped out to his death, forgetting that this door led to nothing.

They closed up the space and never opened it again.

As kids, my dad took us in here all the time.

We weren't allowed to take anything,
