Hi, Nicole, thanks for coming back to the podcast.

Hi, thanks so much for having me, Simon.

So we'll talk about your book. It's called The Light, the Dark, A Journey to Wholeness. What I wanted to ask you about first of all is

what happened when you had your wisdom teeth out? Oh my gosh, yes. Yeah, that was my first

experience of almost a little bit of a glimpse. And I was 17 years old and my mom was taking me to get my wisdom teeth out. And I didn't really overthink about what was going to be happening. But when I got there, the panic really set in. And I remember going into this little surgical room and

having to lay down on this bed and this man came. And his English wasn't the greatest. So it was hard

to really feel like we were on the same page in communicating. And it felt like he just wanted to get me

in and out as quick as possible so he could get back to his

work schedule. And I just remember my heart beating out of my chest. I had so much anxiety

and all of a sudden. And as I was getting, I don't know what I was getting, I was getting

an intravenous and I was starting to have things, you know, stuff moving through my, and I was starting to feel woozy in the room. But I had this moment of panic that I wasn't going to be able to be put to sleep. And I remember even when I close my eyes that I could still feel like I was wide awake. And I thought, oh, what if I feel all this pain and what if I experienced this,

you know? And I just remember looking at him and the room and the room was just starting to feel

like it was melting. And then when I closed my eyes, I started to see this white light. And I felt

as if I lifted out of my physical body and started traveling down at the speed of

light. It was so fast. And I just remember almost seeing like my life flash before me as I was
