Hi Pat, thanks a lot for coming on the podcast. Hello Simon. Thank you for inviting me.

It's an absolute honour. We're going to talk about your book. It's called Beyond the Mortal

Coil. Death is not the end. It is the beginning. What brought you to this point where you wanted

to write this book? Interestingly, I've wanted to write this book for a long time,

but I wait for things to come to me, which may seem strange,

but based on what I'm writing about, it isn't.

And because I'm also a ghost writer,

every time I've sat down to sort of start and put things together, someone's

come along and commissioned another ghost book. So it's sort of kept starting and stopping, but then

I sat down and thought, no, I have to do this. I just had a need to do this. And one of the

main reasons being, a lot of people talk

about supernatural experience, metaphysical experience, whatever I want to call it. And people have

asked me, because of the way that I think, people have asked me, what's a good book,

Pat, that I should read to find out about these things because so many

people have had different experiences which they cannot account for in terms of normal life.

And I realized I couldn't direct them to any one book that covered it all. You know, they could get books on near-death

experience, they could get thousands of books on OBEs, they could get books on paranormal phenomena,
