This week, I have the privilege of sitting down with Dan to launch a new series about the

realities of spiritual warfare. This is a huge, complex topic. So Dan and I start by laying out some of our

core assumptions that guide us in this conversation. These assumptions include the belief that

evil does in fact exist, that it seeks to harm us, but that we are never alone.

We are attempting to engage a topic that is huge, it's complex, and I'm so grateful to be in this conversation with my dear friend and colleague, Rachel Clinton, and we're going to talk, aren't we, Rachel?

Spiritual warfare.

A topic that bears way more than four sessions, but we're going to talk first about

some of the assumptions we each make.

And then next time, we're going to talk about what you need to be able to engage with regard

to just sort of the fears and reactions of others

to engaging spiritual warfare.

And then third, how do you do warfare if your primary doorway as ours is to address story?

So story work and spiritual warfare.

And then finally, in our final time together, we're going to address how we actually

engage spiritual warfare for ourselves and for others.

But again, how odd is it to have your voice leading in and also being part of it's kind of fun actually

it is i i you know when i listen and i listen occasionally but i love listening to your voice

at the beginning uh and so there's something very soothing and strong about that. And

this topic needs your voice. So as we jump in, at least one of the first assumptions I make.
