receipts. You guys might have heard this in our culture. It's like a Gen Z term to say, well,

you know, I brought the receipts. You think that they said that? Well, here's the receipts.

I have pictures of the text that they sent to me. It can be a very, like, scary conversation

of someone is like, well, I caught you doing this and I have receipts.

But if you go to Target or Walmart, it depends on what kind of shopper you are.

We're Target people, although we don't align with a lot of their idealologies.

Target's kind of crazy.

But at Target, if you want to return something, you have to bring your what?

Receit. The proof that you bought it at that store. In these scriptures, Paul is going to show

Christians what their receipts are. Receipts are a place of security. If you want to return something, you can go with your receipt

and you feel secure because I have this proof that I'm going to get my money back, right? Two times,

he uses the same word. The word is this word that pretty much means receipt, but it's a legal

term to prove that a transaction has taken place.

And that's what a receipt is. Amen. And so as Christians, when you have your receipts in your heart

and in your mind, you can go through life not feeling insecure, but you can go through life living

in security.

That's why that word is so paradoxical and kind of strange.

Insecure means you're not secure.

You're not sure about who you are.

You don't know.

You don't have confidence.
