What's up you guys? Me and my wife on the way home with the kids from Costco, we're talking about the fact that baby live doesn't have this thing called object permanence.

It's something that child psychologists estimate they get around like six to nine months.

But basically it means like when the mom or the dad walk

away, especially the mom from the baby, the baby thinks that, you know, in a way the mom is dead.

You know, the baby, the newborn doesn't know that the mom still exist when the baby can't see the mom.

And then around six to nine months they start to realize, okay, yeah, mom is just, you know,

somewhere else right now, but my mom is still alive and exists.

It made me think about 1st Corinthians 3-2 that says, I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it.

And even now, you are not ready.

This is Paul talking to the Corinthian Church.

And he had just got word that this church, that he was a major factor and jump starting it, was having a lot of problems they were you know one guy was

having sex with a stepmom uh there was uh this division between the jewish Christians and then the

non-jewish Christians over should they eat food that had been sacrificed to idols there There was a lot going on, a lot of divisions,

a lot of problems. And so he's writing to them saying, hey, guys, like, when I was there, I was

giving you milk because you were baby Christians, baby believers, but I wish I could give you solid

food now, but based on your behavior and what I'm hearing about, it's not so. Is there a point where baby live is going to grow out of her object permanence?

And she's going to get that trait and she's going to be able to be like, okay, yeah, I'm a little more

independent from my mom now I can do things on my own.

Of course.

But you know what's funny?
