What would you say to those who have been hurt by the church or hurt by a Christian leader?

Relationships, man, they are the most glorious thing, but they're risky.

And wounds come with relationships.

What do you do in a situation where you know you are called to submit to leadership,

but you know maybe they're not submitted to the leadership of God?

If somebody uses the Bible to shame you, they're taking

out of context. Amen. Truth is convicting, but it's not shaming. How can you grow in spiritual

discernment and spiritual maturity to know this is what God is calling me to do? This is where God's

voice is leading me, even if those around me don't understand and agree with it. Be careful to anyone who says honor me. Jesus is my Lord and Master. No pastor is supposed to be your Lord and Master. And I have a lot of friends who've said, I'm backing up. I'm too disappointed. I've had too much church hurt. You know what? If you need to take a breather, take a breather, but don't walk away from the body of Christ. You will not,

I don't think, have abundant life if you try to live it independently. She says, I'm so sorry.

You know, we were talking about how you came up with a name for your podcast. And we were just

talking about, you hear the word theology and it sounds like old men in corner offices. Yeah,

super academic. And I thought, you know, you break down the word theology. The original Greek terms

are Theos, refers to God,

logos, conversations. So at its core, theology is conversations about God. And I thought, I don't

want to do front porch theology because, you know, in the South, we kind of keep our front
