1:02.9	It is a mouthful, and you did it well.
1:05.6	Well, all to say that Nancy has had a significant role in the Seattle school and in the life of the
1:14.6	Allender Center indirectly. And I had the pleasure of being with her and her remarkable
1:22.0	husband a few months ago in Chicago. And we had, at least for me, one of the most enjoyable discussions
1:30.2	I've had in a long season talking about her work in spiritual formation. And so I requested
1:39.8	that this privilege of being able to interview her for the podcast would be possible.
1:47.6	And they have a program that we're going to talk about.
1:50.4	But first and foremost, Nancy, I would love for you just to kind of catch our listeners up with what you do, why you do it, and how you do it. Isn't that a simple question?
2:05.5	Yes, it's a good place to start. I've been teaching at Moody in the undergrad for about
2:15.2	a little over 10 years, a class in spiritual formation.
2:19.2	And the reason that the class got started was because I, we were seeing students get
2:24.2	to the end of their journey and in a sense of privacy of their own hearts as well as when
2:31.1	they felt comfortable saying, I'm not sure I even believe in
2:34.2	God anymore and this isn't working um I know a lot of things I can exigate a passage but I'm
2:41.4	I really don't know that God can meet me at my deepest need and that began the journey with
2:50.0	the course of inviting people into considering where Christ is in their pain, considering who Christ is in and how they might be blocking from perceiving him rightly, and how God is inviting all of us into a fantastic journey that will really exceed
