Welcome to our Rosary.

I'm Dr. Troy Hinkle with the Holy Family School of Faith.

Thank you for joining us in this Rosary podcast. Let us begin by

calling to mind that we are ever in the presence of Almighty God in whom we live

and move and have our being. We call upon him in the name of the father and of the

son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Our theme for tonight is spiritual childhood

but before we begin it's called to mind all those for whom we said we would pray and I

ask all of us to from now on and in a very particular and intentional way to

start praying for our priests, our clergy, our hierarchy.

We don't realize how in need priests are both good and bad of prayers.

We think the bad priests need prayers, but the good priests need prayers too. So let's pray for our clergy. I pray for

all those suffering from COVID either through sickness, through loss, or

through economic hardship. and I'll pause now and give you time to think of

the people you want to pray for.

I recently

to visit my parents and there is one particular day that was surprisingly warm

so I took a walk.

While walking I heard something that stopped me in my tracks. It was a noise that I hadn't heard

in some time and it was so shocking I literally stopped walking and froze to listen. I heard the sound of

children playing during recess at school. The sound was so joyous and brought back so many memories that I had to pause to enjoy it.

The sound of children playing joyfully without a care in the world is truly a heavenly sound.
