So today we are doing a little solo nugget. I probably won't be talking for an hour but it's just me here today. We're doing a solo episode.

VE is on spring break enjoying her time with her family and I know that they're having a great time

I don't know why I'm so anxious about doing this solo because quite honestly I could talk to myself

this with someone you're so close to makes it a lot easier to be comfortable and vulnerable

self because you do every single day and I'm so grateful for that but it is

sometimes a little difficult to be vulnerable like this.

It feels very raw and exposed, but I hope the conversation that we have today can at least help some of you.

I really wanted to discuss body and body image and confidence today.

It's something I get a lot of questions about across the board

And I honestly have had this question been given to me a lot in my life as a plus-size

woman it can be seen as odd I guess or uncommon rather to have the confidence that I was able to walk through life with for a long while and honestly very early on in my life. I grew up in a family that was extremely supportive,

never lacked, you know, words of affirmation in the way that it came to my body,

while also growing up and being told that your body is

wrong by the rest of society and doctors and even certain family members, that dichotomy can create an interesting effect on a young person's confidence and what it means to build that throughout their life.
