tongue instead? James says if you can tame your tongue, you can bridle your whole body. This might be

impossible this side of heaven, but there is a prayer in Psalm 39 to help us hold our tongues and walk in

wisdom, especially in the height of our emotions.

I am looking at my window right now, and it is wisterious season here in North Florida. It is so pretty. They just

droop. I think it's probably an invasive vine actually, maybe where I live. But they are so pretty.

They just kind of decorate the little trees and shrubs and it's just quite lovely. I am really excited to share

about this prayer in Psalm 39 that helps us hold our tongue and walk in wisdom. I actually read it

on the way home from a little mini adventure we had this week that I want to share with you. So as I

read it, I thought, wow, this is really encouraging and something that I want to share with you. So as I read it, I thought, wow, this is really

encouraging and something that I want to practice and just one of those really practical

faith moments. Like we want to have faith in the Lord and we have these situations that are

difficult or that our emotions are raging and what do we do in that time? And here it is.

Here is a great practical way to live

out our faith. So I'm going to talk about that in a moment. But I want to tell you first that we had just a

whirlwind 24 hours this week because it started with air duct cleaning. Well, really, it started
