Hello, everyone, welcome to the podcast. My name is Lauren. Happy 2024. It is a new year with lots of potential, and I'm so excited for it.

I don't know if that's exciting for you guys or if it's overwhelming, but I hope today will

encourage you and myself with some truth from God's word as we think over this coming year.

Some of my ongoing goals for myself this year are to keep growing as a

manager of my home, which includes organization. There are just, do you feel like you look back

on your life and there are some real wins and then there are, there's real potential there?

I feel like my life is potential. But I'm growing as a person of organization

and management of my home. And I finally took this cute little wire basket that I had on our

kitchen island because it was just gathering papers. That's what it was for, just to put our mail in.

But it turned into just the catch-all people were coming over

just shove stuff in the basket I mean it looked horrible but pictures game pieces we probably had

one to two cards from about 30 different deck of cards in there you know not not a complete set

but still 52 of them. With crafts, trash,

pieces of candy, seed packets. I mean, it was just, it was atrocious. I needed to manage it.

So step one was I created a folder that says to be filed and I put it in my filing cabinet. So if there wasn't time,

you know, sometimes you open mail and instead of putting it down on the counter or letting

it pile up somewhere, put it in that folder so then you can just go ahead and file it. So I did that.

However, then I took all the other things and I threw away the trash and, you know, all the other stuff.

But there's pictures, Christmas cards with lovely faces on it.
