Today I'm sharing a biblical perspective on modesty that I never heard in youth group.

I am so glad you're here. My name is Lauren, and I'm really excited to talk about modesty today.

I have received several requests to talk about

this topic. And so as I was preparing this show, I got really excited to get to the root of the

modesty debate because it just is there. It's the same old, same old back from when I was in high

school to even in my 20s of the issue of modesty, you know, if it's for the purpose of not making men

stumble, then they should be more self-controlled and they should, you know, address the sin in their

own hearts with lust, and it's not our problem, it's their problem. And so it's that same argument

that that's what I heard. Those are the reasons why, and that's why modesty exists.

You know what I'm talking about if you've been in the Christian world at all and talked about

clothing. So I'm really excited to address the root of the modesty debate. And when we get to the

root or the heart of it, I think we will be blessed and our daughters will be blessed

and the young women in our churches will be blessed, which of course will bless husbands,

future husbands, fathers, young men and societies as a whole, as well as women.

Like everybody gets blessed because when we walk in the ways of the Lord, the blessings multiply

beyond ourselves. Also, just a quick note,
