I have an update on my pumpkin squirrel deterrent life hack

that I shared from last episode. You see, last week, I confidently shared a hack to keep squirrels

from eating all your pumpkins on the porch because it's so fun to have them up there, but it's like,

it's like a war out there, you versus squirrels and i said oh yeah just rub a little

coconut oil sprinkle some hot seasoning you know like cayenne pepper i had chipotle powder on it and it'll be

so great and i felt superior to the squirrels probably like every dad who has ever made a squirrel

quote unquote squirrel proof-proof bird feeder.

This has happened in my family growing up. My dad had tried many different avenues over many

different years to try to deter the squirrels from getting to the bird feeder. He would go to Lowe's,

get some PVC pipe, bust out his power tools, get Vaseline, spread it on the bird feeder steak. I mean,

try it all. And at first, it looked like it worked. So we would go in, get some iced tea, only to look

out the kitchen window and see Fannie the squirrel face first into sunflower seeds. I mean, just gorging

herself, like laughing too. Well, that was me with my pumpkin. I didn't see Fannie,

but I know she was there because there was a huge chunk taken out of my blue pumpkin. So it worked for a few
