that you're listening today. It's always fun to do a podcast, but it's way more fun when you have

thanks for joining in. And I just want to start off really bizarre turn of events. I don't know if

turn of events makes sense, but we were driving this past weekend to my mother-in-law's house.

And there's a fire near her home. And the whole sky turned really, it wasn't pitch black. It was

like pitch brown. It was this really eerie brown color, ash was falling, and the sun was glowing red.

It was so weird. But here's the weirdest part. My pastor that morning had talked about the

destruction of the temple in 70 AD by the Romans and how there was so much smoke it was likely turning the sun this red color. And then two hours later to actually see it was just totally crazy. But then in Colorado fashion and by the grace of God, it snowed like 14 inches two days later in September.

And we're very thankful because it really is helping with fighting this fire.

But anyway, not only did my pastor talk about the red glowing sun and the destruction of the temple.

He's going through the book of Joel right now.

But he talked about

revolution versus reformation. And I thought we could explore that a bit today because there is a big

difference. So we're going to look at an Old Testament king, King Asa, on some encouragement

from scripture about reformation. But really my hope today is to open the gate for us all to explore this topic

more in depth because I think it's so critical to understand the difference between

revolution and reformation, especially as we look at our culture right now that's kind of
