There are small judgments of the Lord, and then there will be one big final judgment. What do we do

in either case? You know I like a good message on repentance and belief. So today we will be looking

at the Prophet Joel in the Old Testament and see how the message of repentance applies to us

even now.

Hi, everyone, and welcome to the podcast. My name is Lauren, and I'm really grateful that

you're here today. I'm excited about today's topic, first of all, because I don't think the topic

of judgment comes up very much. I don't hear that message a lot in churches, and not that we

want every day to be about the judgment of God or the judgments of God, But they are very sobering and it is very clear that God judges and that there will be a final

judgment.

And so I think it's important to look at.

So we're going to look at that.

And then the solution to this, like judgment comes because of sin, because of our rebellion

against God.

And God not only its judgment is not

only a consequence, but also a call to repentance and to believe in him and in the grace

that is afforded to us through Jesus Christ. So really, the topic of judgment is a topic

about repentance and belief, which if you've listened to this podcast

at all, you know that's one of my favorite things to talk about because the gospel gives

life, sin only destroys, and so we want that life and that life is found in Christ.

And repentance and belief, my husband taught me this phrase. He said, all of life is repentance and belief.
