Can Christians be deceived by their own hypocrisy? Today I'm going to share a few surprisingly

common ways we all fall into hypocrisy as Christians and what we can do to avoid that deception.

Hi, everyone, my name is Lauren, and this is the Sheproose Faithful Podcast.

Thank you so much for joining me, And my goal is to go to the

scriptures and to learn what the Lord has called us to do and learn more about him. So that's what we're

going to do today. And here we are in October. And I have a little life hack today that helps us

think about the holiday at the end of this month that I think a lot of Christians

wrestle with. I know our family has, do we participate in Halloween? What does Halloween look like

for the Christian? And I'm not going to go into what the holiday is or what you should or shouldn't

do or convictions or anything. But I do have a life hack that might give a lot of Christians ideas of how to redeem that night

for the Lord. I know we've tried Reformation Day parties and we love Reformation Day and, you know,

we've done nails and hammers on doors and all sorts of stuff. But I really appreciate Adam Stob.

He's a pastor out in Pennsylvania,

and he has the Shine As Lights podcast. And he also has the Kidcast, which is this bite-sized

kid version of a podcast. It's great. You can learn, kids can learn foundational truths about

the Christian faith, but also church history. So I encourage you to check out his podcast.

But his church, they set up tables around their community, hand out candy, and tracks, and have

conversations about Jesus with people in their community.

And I thought, what a great opportunity to talk to people, to share Jesus with the world on a day that is, like,

darkness is really celebrated.
