Hi, everyone. My name is Lauren, and I am the host of this podcast. I'm so thankful that you're

joining me today on this episode. It's actually a follow-up, really because I ran out of time.

Last episode, I talked about, are women really oppressed with these biblical roles?

I tackled some commonly debated roles that women

have and don't have and how they can be kind of labeled oppressive. And when we do that,

when we look at God's Word and we call something oppressive that he's called good, we're really

doubting the truth and we're doubting his goodness he's called good, we're really doubting the truth,

and we're doubting his goodness. And so I wanted to follow up with the truth about who God is

and how we can look at His word and know the character of God and really be set free.

Be encouraged that the Lord God is Creator. We're going to talk about he's Adonai, which means

Lord, and that he's Jehovah El-Met, which means he's the Lord God of Truth. Oh, it's so beautiful.

Before I do that, I'm going to talk about liver, because last time I said that I had put liver in a

crock pot, and I didn't know how it was going to turn out.

Well, I'll let you know. It was very tender.

Surprisingly tender. I thought it was going to have to like chew on it.

But it was so tender, it kind of melted in my mouth. And I don't know if that's normal or if that

was crock pot magic. But it left this aftertaste in my mouth for about 15 minutes.

That was not, not enjoyable. And I thought, I don't know how I'm going to get seven more pounds of

liver when I can't even take one bite. I don't know. I don't know how I'm going to do this.
