When we sin, we feel guilt. When we are sinned against, we can become bitter. So does that justify

bitterness? The Bible does say to not let any bitter root grow and to get rid of all bitterness.

But it's not my fault, right? Today I am sharing a story of my personal bitterness and how God used

a book and a conviction from the Holy Spirit and his sweet, empowering grace to get

rid of that big old bitter root in my heart. Bitter, party of one. Bitter, party of one.

we can apply the Bible directly to our lives. God is so good to give us a word, his word. It is a lamp to our

feet and a light to our path. And I was going to talk about feminism today. I'm really excited about it.

So it's in the works. In fact, I have a three-part series coming up. I say this. I hope that it,

I hope it's a three-part series, but feminism, the feminine design,

and how that is worked out practically. So hopefully that all ties in. It might just be enough for two.

Who knows? But I had to think of another topic, and I looked down at my nightstand, and there's a

book that's been sitting there for a while

that has really encouraged me and had a huge impact on my life. It's called How to Be Free

from Bitterness and Other Essays on Christian Relationships by Jim Wilson. And the cover

just says so much about the content of the book. You know, you can, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover,

but this one you should. It's so good. On the front, it's got an old-timey photograph of this family,

and every face except one is scratched out. I saw a meme the other day. It was like how people
