Hi, everyone, and welcome to this episode of the Sheeproost Faithful podcast. My name is Lauren,

and I'm glad you're listening today. Thanks for being here. It's my hope that today,

as we read the Word of God and talk about God's sovereignty and his will, that we would all

be amazed and encouraged. My daughter said something really funny

the other night. We were done in the evening, ready for bed, had to pick up the living room.

My daughter was so disappointed. And my husband said, okay, it's time to clean up. And she's kind of,

you know, having a real hard time. And my husband asks, hey, what's wrong? My daughter goes,

this is just not how I planned my night. I plan to sit and relax, soak my feet, read a book,

watch some football. This is just not what I planned. My husband had to hold his tongue,

and he came and found me in the kitchen and he literally

laughed to the hardest I think he's ever laughed before. And he said, this is literally what our

daughter just said. So again, she's five. She just had some plans. Why clean up? She wanted to sit

and relax, soak some feet, read a book, watch some football. Is that too much to ask mom and dad?
