Hello, hello, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Fulently Ford. I am so excited to share this

episode with you. Just going to talk for a little bit before we get into the interview. But a couple of

months ago, I was doing a Q&A over on Instagram, just asking everybody like, what's up with you,

anything new in your life, what's on your mind grapes, etc. And somebody wrote in and they said that

they had just finished reading the book, The Art of Frugal Heedonism. And then it was another book

about like how to be productive in a stress-free way. And they were like, I read these books. I

thought you might be interested in reading them as well. And first of all, I was like, I feel so

understood by people who listen to this podcast. Those books are exactly up as well. And first of all, I was like, I feel so understood by people who

listen to this podcast. Those books are exactly up my alley. So I went and I checked them out at

the library and I started reading the art of frugal hedonism. It's got a really pretty cover.

And I was excited because I love little frugal tips and hacks and shortcuts. And I kind of went

into this book thinking that I would get a few

life hacks or ways to cut something here or there. And as I start reading this book, which by the way,

is incredible because no matter how you feel about money or finances, everybody feels funny

about money in some way. And there's a variety of different ways to feel funny about it.

But shame is always

incorporated or this idea of I should be doing something different or, you know, I don't know

enough about my 401k or my spending or my saving. I don't know if I've ever talked to anyone

who's felt 100% okay with their relationship with money and how they're handling it.

So I opened up this book and I thought

I was going to be a bunch of hacks. And instead, it was more of like, I don't even know how to

describe it. It was like a philosophy that turned my life upside down. And it was so Zen and it was so
