It's ridiculous to be upset about not being chosen first

to strip for a bachelor at party in the break room

of the McDonald's restaurant.

That and more, but before that, you know, here at Risk

and the story studio, we're a small team of artists

making just enough to scrape by and working

what feels like 24-7 much of the time,

pouring our time, our energy, our brain,

and our heart power into keeping the show running.

It's definitely a labor of love and also frankly a vocation.

You know, it's like a calling for many of us

because we love and believe so passionately

in the value of the show.

So the burnout and the anxiety about just breaking even

and the overwhelm of producing a show

that's as well put together and as complex

as some other shows with carcane-twin budgets

and many dozens of full-time staff

and all sorts of elite connections.
