You know, sometimes in life we find ourselves in a rush.

And then we have people asking us, what's the rush?

And because we have people asking us, what's the rush,

we find ourselves rushing even more,

because we had to stop and explain why we were in a rush.

And since we're now rushing more than before,

we make mistakes and forget things

and somehow end up more late than if we hadn't been rushing.

Sound familiar? Well, this week, I've got a story for anyone who has ever been in a rush.

This is the story of what happens when you're in a rush and you're trying to go fast,

but somehow going fast just makes it worse.

Kave and his two siblings, Avin and Reeve, were not exactly the fastest at getting at the door in the morning. Every day, the boy's father tried his best to get everyone to school on time. He gave it everything he had. But the poor guy would have had an easier time throwing a rubber ducky to planet Neptune. Kids, we've got to get moving here. What is taking so long? Oh, you're still in bed even though I woke you up almost an hour ago? Oh, you fell back asleep even though I opened your curtains and turned on all of your lights? Oh, that's awesome. Love that. Just what we need when we're already late. But getting the boys out of bed wasn't even the hardest part.

There was always that one brother who was missing something.

Look, even I don't know where your blue shirt with the bird on it is gone.

Just choose another shirt.

Then there was the brother who didn't want to get rest.

Kave, no, it is not pajama day at school today, just like it wasn't yesterday, or the day before that.
