Yo, what's up, Nick?

0:13.1

What is up?

0:15.3

Yeah, we're getting ready to do a little RP photo shoot.

I am consuming an immense amount of sodium and water right now. That's fun.

0:23.3

Excellent. Excellent. So I'm basically going pee like every hour on the hour and just continuing to

0:30.0

consume large quantities of fluids. That's great. Very diuretic. Dude, it is. It is. So let me do my best to explain this. You tell me if I'm on the right

0:40.1

track. So the body has all sorts of hormonal regulations. If you stop drinking water, it holds

0:46.2

onto water like the world's ending. So you don't, you know, die, right? Yeah. Okay. So you, to look your best, you want to get rid of the water kind of under your skin to

0:58.5

appear dry and so you essentially quote unquote flood your body with fluid and sodium for you

1:07.8

know a number of days so those hormone regulators I whatever, I don't know what they're technically called.

1:15.4

Anti-diarotic hormones and diuretic hormones, yeah.

1:18.0

Basically shut off for, what, 24 hours?

1:20.9

And so you kind of like try to taper that around.

1:23.9

So lots of fluids, lots of salt for several days in a row. And then all of a sudden you start to taper back and then you kind of just drop it completely. And then it kind of just pulls all the water out before those turn back on. Is that the general? That's the idea. Yeah, for sure. A little, a little probably trickier than what I just explained, but I'm just doing my best. So people are like, you know, why the hell is he?

1:44.8

Yeah, yeah. Because it seems so counterintuitive because you think like, oh, you want to be dry. So you stop drinking water. It's like, oh, that's not actually how it works. I have no idea how it works in reality. I've never been to pull any of that off. But allegedly it works sometimes. Yeah, I just do it.

2:00.7

Jared tells me too.

2:01.9

And thinking back, this brings back. that off, but allegedly it works sometimes. Yeah, I just do what Jared tells me to. And

2:02.3

thinking back, this brings back some, some memories. So for me, I like to do the Powerade Zero.

2:09.7

It's about the only way I can get in that amount of fluids and that amount of sodium.
