former ambassador of the United Nations, about the pending visit by Xi Jinping to Moscow.

Mr. Bolton had sharp things to say about how the war in Ukraine makes China the big winner.

Not only the big winner, as I understand it, but also a winner that can't lose.

If Russia wins, so much better for Xi Jinping.

What we're looking at here is China is the near-pier adversary of the United States, and

the war in Ukraine is making that more and more vivid.

China is the real winner in this war, and it wins almost a matter of what the outcome.

If Russia wins, then China's ally has extended its influence deep into the continent of Europe.

If Russia loses, it just becomes more dependent on China.

So I think Xi Jinping and Putin have a lot to talk about here, and really none of its

favorable to Russia.
