She's written for more places than I could. If you've probably read some of the places she's been published at,

Boston Globe, Washington Post, Politico, New Republic. I won't go through all of them. But she

has written two books, The Influence of Soros, Politics, Power, and the Struggle for an Open

Society in 2020, and Bad Jews, a History of American Jewish Politics and Identities in

2022. She is also a repeat guest. She has a substack, E.T. Right Home. We'll put a link to that in

the show description. Emily, thank you so much for coming back to the show. Thank you so much for

having me back. The pleasure to have you. I wish we were talking about something else, but we are

going to be talking about the Sarah Hurwitz clips that have been circulating online, and just to get your take on this stuff,

and I really wanted to do this,

and I'm going to lead it off,

because as the Gentile member of this podcast,

I'm the outsider here.

But we're going to play these two clips,

and then I want to get your take on them.

The first is from this session that she attended at the Jewish Federations of North America

General Assembly in Washington.

And the second is from a podcast that she was on kind of responding to that. So

let's play the clips and then we can talk about them. I think that since October 7th, but really

before then, there have been huge shifts in America on how people think about Jews and Israel.

And I think that is especially true of young people.
