Two years and two days after the massacre of October 7th, Israel wakes up to a joyous day.

The hostages will be released on Monday, perhaps sooner, a ceasefire deal reached, and the end of the war in Gaza is within reach.

This is a special unholy episode.

As Yonit says, we're coming to you much earlier than usual.

Because of this news, I mean, if you're somebody who's watched this region for a long time,

you feel the urge to, or the necessity to have all the usual caveats

because things can go wrong at the last possible moment moment.

But from what we can see right now, it does seem as if the deal has been done.

Israeli forces are due to withdraw, pull back from Gaza City, as part of this, going back to a new line.

And the hostage families are celebrating and, you know, letting off fireworks, preparing to be reunited with loved ones.

These, of course, are the hardcore of the hostage

families in the sense they have been without their loved ones for, as you've said, right at

the start, for two years and two days. But they believe it's happening. Everyone in the region

believes it's happening. international community, international opinion

believes it's happening at long, long last.

I mean, I often told you I'm not holding my breath at different stages that we got to

where there were so many full storms before and I would say I'm not holding my breath.

Well, if you see me looking a little blue, it is because I am now holding my breath.
