Of course, we are doing a special because the United States has taken outrageous action in Venezuela.

Of course, things are developing,

so we will continue to update you as we know more, but we felt it important to get this special

out. So, Derek, let's really just jump right into it. What do we know has happened in Venezuela?

Overnight, the U.S. bombed several targets in Venezuela. There were a number of military bases, a number of federal buildings.

And the main headliner is that U.S. forces moved into the presidential palace, apparently,

and seized Nicholas Maduro along with his wife, I believe.

They've taken them out of the country.

The last I heard, he was on board the USS Iwojima in the Caribbean.

He's presumably going to be brought to the U.S. to stand trial.

He is under indictment in the U.S. on drug charges primarily. That's basically the

main thrust. I mean, you know, we can talk about details, but the main issue is that the U.S.

is abducted a foreign head of state on the basis of somewhat dubious domestic legal charges.

So let's start there.
