And we're here to give an update on the Iran War. A lot has actually happened since last Friday when we spoke to you.

So we thought it would behoove us to talk about these negotiations, which seemed to be going swimmingly. All right, Derek.

So what has happened since the ceasefire was signed just last week? And it was supposed to last two

weeks for negotiations, but things

seem to have not been going so well. Right. So, I mean, they came to the ceasefire agreement

on Tuesday. Not signed. It was a verbal thing, but they met in Islamabad on Saturday,

the U.S. sent a delegation with J.D. Vance, Steve Whitkoff, and Jared Kushner.

And if those guys can't get a deal done, that by Gummett, nobody can.

The Iranians sent their delegation was led by Mohamed Bajalibov, the parliament speaker,

but was very large, apparently, included a number of people from all branches of the Iranian government, which suggested to people who were observing this that they were serious about coming to a deal.

They had decision makers in a number of aspects or a number of things that would

be relevant to negotiations, all present in Islamabad, ready to make a deal. The U.S. had a hedge fund

loser and two real estate guys, so you can do the math there. The result was, as you might expect, not good. There was a long negotiating session on

Saturday. It went all the way into Sunday morning. There were a lot of reporters plaintively

complaining in Islamabad that they weren't being told anything and we're just sitting here

and we don't know what's going
