With that said, today has been proclaimed a national day of prayer by our president.

And I think that's a great thing.

And we're going to honor that just for a few moments as a Christian body this morning before our teaching.

And that prayer is going to be direct and deliberate

for the circumstance or main issue that we're facing right now. And that issue has no favorites

and it's not biased at all. And we should understand that. And I would like to say this too,

a national day of prayer. That's great for the president to do. I'm glad he did it. But understand this. We pray all the time. Again, it's not because of some significant event that happens that should cause us to pray. Prayer should be always. Make no mistake about it. All of us should be praying at all times, seeking the Lord's guidance. And we should lay aside today all differences and pray as one. That's what we should be doing. Asking for God for the solutions. And no one who is in God's words should be surprised about what's happening.

This is prophecy.

These things must come to pass for the end to come. However, knowing that, we still should always pray.

And I also pray a curse upon anyone, any entity that will use this circumstance for malicious gains,

or to further divide this already fractured and jacked up nation.

Curse you in the name of the Lord Jesus.

But now why don't we take a moment and pray deliberately this morning.

Join me please. Father in heaven, we come to you boldly,

to your throne of grace. We pray that you would just remove anxiety and fear amongst your people.

And Lord, for those who are in fear, maybe this is a wake-up call for them to not look out

to man, but look up to you. You're the only one with the answers and solutions. And that's

why we seek you earnestly this morning and always. So Lord, as you work this for the good, we pray that we would see

what would come out of this, that will bring you all the honor and glory you deserve. And bless

your saints, as you have promised, keep us protected and keep us aligned to your perfect will.

We thank you for that which only you can accomplish and the power of your might.
