So tonight, our Bible study will be on Proverbs chapter 5. Not as the week was already a downer.

0:13.3

This chapter is, there's nothing nice to say the least when it comes to what it's dealing with, but this is God's

0:22.2

word, and we're not going to skip over it. This being the 5th of October and how many of us do,

0:28.4

we read a proverb chapter a day. So I just felt that this would be the one that we'll go to since

0:33.6

this is the 5th of October. And this being the book of wisdom, it would be wise for us to take a look

0:42.0

and see what God's word is saying. As you know, the overall theme associated with this message

2:00.3

And that's how it's getting downplayed and that's a shame.

2:05.0

And we need to address it because it's in God's word the way God meant it to be,

2:10.8

not for us to change based on how we feel.

2:15.1

As Christians, we must always view this from the biblical perspective and call it like it is.

2:24.0

And just because adultery is being handled differently in our society does not remove the seriousness

2:31.9

of what it is and the practice of it.

2:36.5

And this is deadly.

2:39.0

Deadly for us physically and spiritually, especially when you talk about the church for several reasons.
