As you know, Jan has become a close personal friend of mine over the years.

And we talked a couple months ago and I think in Minnesota the temperature was something like 40 degrees below zero.

And it was 80 here. And I said, Jan, why don't you come here where it's a little bit warmer?

Okay, a lot warmer.

And while you're here, I would like for you to, it would be such a privilege to have you speak.

So she took me up on it.

And come to find out that this is her first time that she has ever been to

Hawaii and she has truly enjoyed her stay. She flew in on Tuesday with Annette, a friend of hers,

also a board member and so we just want to welcome them here today. Jan Markell is the founder of all of

tree ministries, which began in the 1980s as a ministry for believers to become watchmen on the wall,

understanding the times from a biblical perspective.

Jan has authored eight books, which have been published with major Christian publishing houses.

She's also produced numerous DVDs, some of which have aired on Sky Angel.

Her wildly popular radio broadcast has heard on over 830 radio stations

across North America, including K-Light, AM and FM, as well as CSN here on the islands. Jan hosts the

largest Bible prophecy conference in the nation. And as you know, last October,

I had the privilege of being one of the speakers at last year's conference. It was also such an

honor to be able to celebrate Jan's 40-year anniversary in ministry. It's quite a celebration, quite an honor. I'm also honored to be one of the speakers again this year at the 2018 Understanding the Times Conference in Minnesota on September 29th, which this year, Lord willing, is going to be live streamed,

and Jan's going to also be talking about that as well.

So with that, would you join with me in giving Jan a warm welcome as she comes up?
