On this special episode at the projection booth, we are looking at the 2018 film from writer, director, atter, etc. Douglas Burke.

Surfer, teen confronts fear. It's the story of the titular surfer, played by Sage Burke, and how he confronts fear.

Yeah, so we'll discuss the story as it is, how it plays out, and yes, we'll be getting

to spoilers, though I don't really think that that matters.

So, Ty, as this is a relatively new film, I'm not going to ask you when you first saw it,

but when you first heard about it, and what were to ask you when you first saw it, but when you

first heard about it and what were your initial impressions when you first saw it?

I was in L.A. a few months ago and I met David J. Moore, author of The Good, the Tough, and the

deadly. So he's written books on various action films, including one on post-apocalyptic action films.

And he knew that I ran the Bristol Bad Film Club here in the UK.

And he was like, have you heard of this film, Surfer Teen Confronts Fear?

It reminded, I think I'd read an article or seen an article about how it was this Christian faith film and it was meant to be

the new room. But to be honest, that's a label that's been bandied around a lot. So I said,

I've heard of it. I haven't seen it. He was like, I know how I can get you a screener. I think

he's involved in the marketing. He sent me it. That
