You're probably looking at that slide wondering what happened to the teaching in Galatians.

Well I'm so glad you asked.

So because of everything that's happening, I once again this week spent a considerable amount of time

seeking the Lord about what he would have me to talk

about today and in so doing I sense that the Holy Spirit was leading me to do a special prophecy

update in lieu of the teaching through Galatians which we do on Sunday mornings prior to the prophecy update and one of the teaching through Galatians, which we do on Sunday mornings prior to the Prophecy Update.

And one of the reasons for this is because of what we're witnessing

with this Hurricane Harvey and the just utter and total devastation

that it has caused.

I'm hoping today to deal with some really difficult issues

like that of why God allows suffering in the world, even among his people, amongst godly people.

So we're going to take and tackle that today, Lord willing.

Another reason I sense that the Lord was leading me to do this is because I won't be here next week.

I'm really looking forward to having Pastor Mack who is back. Mac stand up who's in the back.

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I had prayed for this man to come back here

because I needed a lot of help. And so the Lord brought him back as only the Lord

can. And so he's going to be filling in for me. In my absence, I will return to the pulpit on Sunday,

September the 17th. Another reason, as many of you may know, is that my 10-year-old daughter,

Sabia, was invited to sing America the Beautiful at the U.S. Tennis Open in New York this week.

Now many, yes, this is, many of you have asked me about this,

and all we know at this point is that she's going to perform on Thursday night at the women's semifinals.
