All right, welcome to another episode of Friends from Work.

I'm Robbie. He's Kyle, and this is a podcast about all things in the Marvel

Cinematic Universe. Now, we say this a lot, Kyle, but today's episode really is something special.

It is so special. It is something we have been working on for a long time. It's been a long time coming.

And we've made it. And I want you guys to stay tuned because you are really going to love

this episode. I promise. Before we get to that, though, I do want to thank everybody that's

been on this rewatch journey with us. You know, we recently reached the culmination of phase one,

which was really fun. I know for us here, it seems like folks have been having fun with it.

It's been fun hearing from people on social media and everything. And, you know, it's funny,

as much as Kyle and I rag on Kevin Faggy's penchant for using palette cleanser films in the release order

to follow up a big event movie.

We're about to do that here.

Here we are.

Today's episode is totally different, not connected to the rewatch or really anything else that we've done on

this podcast before, but it's something that we've been wanting to make happen for a long time,

really since we had the idea for this podcast. We had the opportunity to interview a very special

guest, someone who, well, he's a very special guest for a lot of reasons,

but for our purposes, is very connected to the MCU in a few really, really interesting ways.

Sadly, I am still speaking to you from across the pond, and so I could not be there to take

part in the interview.

Luckily, my trusty co-host, Kyle here, was there to hold down the fork, conduct the interview,

and he did a great job, Kyle.
