What. A. Time. Popping in with a recap from my recent race in Berlin, in which I completed my fifth marathon major in 3:58:43. So amped on this, a major comeback from injury, and such a special moment for me personally after a difficult couple years.
I share what I take into consideration for traveling to run an international race, the precautions I took from the beginning of the year to battle plantar fasciitis and train for this safely, how I worked with my expert team (podiatrist, physical therapist, acupuncturist), and so much more. Plus: The lowdown on what exactly went down during the race on September 24, what it felt like to pace someone else to their big goal, and the ever-lovely answer to the "what's next?" question.
