Ken isn't with us today, but I am joined by Giles Robillard Day, the interim CEO of the National Counselling Society.

So Giles, you're very welcome.

Rory, it's lovely to be here again and to share some time with you and all your members

at Counting Tudor.

And yeah, I'm looking forward to having a chat.

Absolutely.

So you've come on today to talk about some changes that are happening with the NCS.

So what's going on?

What changes are af foot, Giles?

Well, we keep growing, Rory, as you probably know, and we've got a really, really exciting year ahead

with lots of things happening. You know, so the major ones this year, we're going to be changing

our name to the National Cancering and Psychotherapy Society.

We're going to be launching a brand new, incredible website. And we're also going to be launching

two new sub-registers, which is probably one of the first in the AR program to do that.

Well, fantastic. So let's start, let's start on first things first. So why are you changing your name and what is the name going to be?

Yeah, no, good question, Rory. A few years ago, we talked to our members and we became a proud.

We got lots of members who do identify with being a psychotherapist, but it wasn't in our name.

And also from going out to stakeholders and then saying, you know, you're just counselors,
