David Yonthe from Behind the Velvet Rope podcast is joining us.

I mean, what an introduction is that?

Like, and feel free to invite me back every day with an introduction like that. David, we like to make people feel welcome here. So let's me be honest here. I did not really know terribly much about you, but your publicist reached out to me and asked if you wanted to come on as a guest. And I did a little bit of research. I listened to your

podcast. I said, a guest. He has to co-host. He's so delicious. He knows everything about reality

stars and Bravo. How did all this start for you, David? Did my publicist say, please, Rob,

please take him or he's going to kill me in like the depths of August? She was overly sweet but persistent. I will say that. So how did all this start for you? How did you become such a great podcaster? So look, I have, you know, a varied background. I went to law school. I practiced corporate texts. Right. I'm like a closet smart person. So I had my own company. So I had a company I ran. It was an executive staffing company. I sold it. Yeah, you know, like serious stuff here. Really? Yeah. So you found people that like, like a head hunter? Exactly. Exactly. David. Are you rich, David? Did you make a lot of money? Well, I mean, I disposed of the company favorably. So,

oh, oh. And then after that, you decided, what shall I do next? You know what? I'll hang out with

Countess Luann. Is that what happened? I mean, listen, Rob, at least you get it. Sometimes I have to

explain it for three hours. So yes, after I sold my company, I said, I would rather just hang out with Countess

Luanne all day. So that is really what I started doing. Be serious for a minute. So how did you

set up this podcast? Because it really has grown and you've got such a niche, you've got such a

specialty in particularly bravo, but reality in general. How did all that happen?

Well, I mean, so listen, I don't really understand

people that like sit around and talk about all these people for hours and hours. I mean,

that's what we do. But I was like, I'm going to insert myself into the story. So really, I

actively sought out these people to become friends with. It was like an agenda. And then, right. And then once I did, I was like, there's these things that happen. Like, if anything, is really confidential, of course. I'd be caught off at the knees. So I don't really talk about that. But I'm like these funny little stories about being at these dinners and parties. I'm like, I'm observing everything. And like, somebody might find these

stories really interesting. Well, I know. I do. And I should jump in here because I'm a gossip
