Brenda, having actually landed a real-ass W-4 job in a high-end ladies' boutique,

she's committing to the teachings of Deidre, her snake of a manager.

Deidre disdains Brenda for only shaking Cindy down for a $20 pity purchase of cosmetics

and for letting Kelly talk Donna out of buying perfume when Kelly looks at a price tag for the first time in her life and sees that it's $190.

But when David wanders in looking for a gift to impress Donna, Brenda knows exactly what to recommend for an insecure

goober with more money than street smarts. Diedra pushes her luck too far when she swoops in to

steal the commission on a sale Brenda spent an hour working on.

Brenda and Cindy hatch a revenge plan. Cindy poses as a rich lunatic. Silk turbine, check.

Wastes Deidre's time picking out a load of stuff, gets her to volunteer to pay her parking ticket,

and then tells Deidre off, I really don't need you kissing my

butt to pad your commission while you treat your employees badly and leaves empty-handed.
