podcast series where I interviewed Carl Richards. He's the author of The One Page Financial

Plan. In this final installment, we discuss, well, we get pretty deep, we discuss being fairly

self-aware and how stress relieving that could be.

We also talk about saving and how much you should save and it

turns out that it's not perhaps the answer that you're used to or would like to

hear but it's the right answer. So for the final installment I turn the time back over to me and

Carl Richards author of the one-page financial plan. Okay so in the book you

give you mentioned you need a budget which I appreciate you talk about

budgeting being awareness and since everyone already knows that because they

listen to this podcast we'll go on to something.

So, because we're totally agreeing and if we could find something to argue about that

would be worth talking about. But I like the phrase you had in the book where you said it was something on the lines of you figure

out how much you should reasonably save.

And I loved that you put reasonably in front of it because it again maybe back to the guessing

yeah it's it's a little loose and reasonable is just a great you can get your

arms around reasonable. Yeah.

People get frustrated a little bit too with reasonable because it's not like we all want
