Hi, my name is Brian, I'm an alcoholic.

This is the first time summaries let me near a podium since speech class in 1986 and in

fact you know I was nervous to do this is the first time I've ever spoken to like this

and it's the first time I've spoken to this many people and 15 minutes is probably going

to seem like a long time and a really short time all at the same time.

So this is you know this is how it was, how it was was I'm really like a lot of you know

I started drinking and using drugs when I was very young and I loved it and I became

the person that was doing that more than all my friends, more than anybody I knew.

I was, I always, I thought this is just the bee's knees and I want to do this as much as

I can do it and the very first time I drank just you know real quick I got arrested and

that's like you know I've heard that so many times that's not even unusual I've heard

that out of you guys you know you guys are all like that you know but that's what happened

and then what started happening really quickly was I kept getting arrested you know a lot

and a lot and a lot and a lot and you know ended up in solitary and because I just

Jew he wasn't enough they needed to put me in solitary and you know I viewed all this

like they're just trying to break me and not gonna break me you know that's how I looked

at it that's I mean entirely how I looked at it there's nothing wrong with what I'm doing
