My name's Erin and I'm an alcoholic and my sobriety date is April 30th, 2016.

I have a home group, it's Empire Way, which I think is a pretty great meeting and I'd

highly recommend anybody to go there.

I have a sponsor and she has a sponsor so I'm just going to share a little bit of what

it was like what happened and what it's like now.

Let's see, what it was like was not great.

So I grew up in like a really, it was a pretty good home.

My parents were great parents, they got divorced when I was two so I just grew up with that.

They were loving, they gave me attention.

They really were good parents, they got chaotic at times, but they were pretty good and my

mom was a single mom and a teacher and I very quickly became, I was able to always associate

well with adults but not so well with my peers, like whenever I was with my peers I just

always felt like I was out of place.

I was uncomfortable, I didn't know how to fit in and I can and I could talk to adults

like nobody's business, I just knew how to engage with adults but when it came to talking

to people my own age I was awkward, I was uncomfortable all growing up and when I was 15 my

mom took me to a family Bible camp and I was out at the sand dunes with some kids and
