The continuing resolution blew up on Speaker Johnson last night.

It is 1,147 pages long.

$110 billion plus. That is a continuing resolution. Let me say that again, that's

continuing resolution. That's not continuing. That's adding on. It's meant to avert the government shutdown, but let's just

talk about some of the things that it does include. Oh, yeah, the pay raise for members of Congress

going from $174,000 a year to $243,000 per year. Also includes, hey, a new football stadium in

Washington, D.C. 72 pages of

pandemic preparedness and response policy. Yeah, there's nothing like shutting down the

government for a football team that can't keep the same name, right? Yeah. Like, it's absolutely nuts

that a congressional pay raise is part of this.

$40,000.

Nobody else got a pay raise, right?

And if they shut down the government, they still get paid.

Right, exactly.

So they just want their money, don't they?
