Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible,

chapter by chapter, book by book.

There seems to be much disillusionment with leaders in our own country and around the world.

And there is a constant criticism flowing from the media and often from our own mouths.

But on our last program, we began learning that it should not be this way.

In our study from Acts chapter 23, we began learning that we are to respect our leaders

because God has allowed them to be in that position.

This can be a confusing proposition to many, so let's join our teaching and get some clarification

on how this works out practically.

With our teaching, here now is Pastor John.

And sometimes we look at politicians,

and we think, my goodness, they're slick.

They're tricky.
