This is not just true for bureaucracies.

This is kind of a human behavior, right?

Where it's easier to allow the status quo to go on until the easier decision is to put Won't Save Us.

And before we get into this week's episode, I just wanted to note that David

0:34.7

Columbia, who was a guest on episode 67, back in July of

0:39.5

2021, a while ago now, unfortunately died of cancer this past week. And so I just wanted to say that

0:45.7

I think it's a great loss, unfortunately, that we lost David at 60 years old. He was a great

1:33.7

finishing that book, and I will be looking for some way to cover it once it is finally released.

But I just wanted to note David's passing and to say that, you know, it's a real loss for all

1:43.8

of us who care

1:44.4

about critical perspectives on the tech industry because David was often quite ahead of the

1:49.4

curve in his critiques. And they were always very welcome. And it was always great to engage with him.

1:55.6

So rest in peace, David. And if you do want to know more about David and his work, I've linked
