Summary

When we talk about addiction, we have to talk about overcoming odds. The idea of getting clean and sober seems impossible and the thought of living the rest of our lives in recovery can be paralyzing. But the world is bigger than us and our addictions, and people have to overcome all sorts of odds.

Oleg Lougheed is our guest today. He knows the annihilating power of alcoholism, the gnawing pain of starvation, and the isolation of being in a new land among a language he didn't understand. He is now a TEDx speaker and the host of the Overcoming Odds Podcast and is here to tell us how he climbed his way out of a hopeless fate.

Oleg has rewritten his story from a Russian orphanage to a rich and fulfilling life in the United States. How will you overcome the odds and rewrite your own story in recovery?

You can find joy within every single day. And I firmly believe that's true, regardless of how
