Summary

This weekend, guest teacher David Thomas joined us to share a word on sowing for awakening through travailing prayer. David shares in our desire to see the fame and deeds of God renewed and known in our time, and was able to help steward the outpouring that happened earlier this year at Asbury. Experiencing this move of God first hand confirmed David’s convictions that our prayer life is the most important thing about us and that we must press further into prayer as individuals and as the Church.

0:13.8	I wanted to let you know this week we are taking a break from our one Thessalonian series,
0:18.0	and we have a guest speaker, Dr. David Thomas, preaching for us.
0:23.6	He is someone who is an absolute kindred spirit. I met David several years ago and knew
0:30.5	immediately his heart for prayer, his vision for revival with the same that's in the heart of our
0:35.1	community. He did his doctoral studies in
0:38.2	travailing prayer. He works with New Room and Seedbed, which are communities that exist to
0:44.2	believe God for and sow seeds for another great awakening in Western culture. He was most
0:50.8	importantly and most recently a part of the team that helped steward and shepherd
0:54.7	what God did at the Asbury Outpouring.
0:57.5	He was here with us on Friday doing an event for pastors and people hungry for prayer here in
1:02.3	New York City and we had the privilege of having him teach this weekend.
1:05.5	I know this talk is going to stir your faith.
