Summary

Pastor Louie Giglio reminds us that we aren’t dealing with a god who is on our level. Our God is seated on a throne high and exalted with all rule and all authority. He is Sovereign. What does this mean for you? This mean He is able; able to do whatever He wants to do, and He can. This means your God is more powerful than the mess you find yourself in; than the circumstances around you; than anything and everything you will encounter. In a chaotic world, your God is sitting high and exalted, able and willing to do what is best for your life because He desires you to be with Him.

0:21.0	I'm praying tonight that God will blow our minds and blow up our hearts.
0:27.0	Can we just pray that together? Lord will you blow our minds and blow up our hearts.
0:33.0	You know, this is what ought to happen when we go to church.
0:36.0	When we show up at the house of God, our minds should be blown.
0:40.0	Because we're not here to look at God under a microscope.
0:43.0	We're here to meet with a creator who spoke the universe into existence.
0:49.0	And he is so much bigger than our biggest thought, our biggest step of faith, our biggest belief,
0:56.0	our biggest prayer and so much greater than we've ever imagined when we come closer.
1:01.0	Like we're going to do today and come one more step up on the mountain, minds blown.
1:07.0	But God doesn't want to just blow our minds. He could do that all day long and just have us walking around like,
1:13.0	oh, oh, oh, oh, can't take it anymore. No, he wants us to know him.
1:17.0	So he does want to blow our minds, but he also wants to blow up our hearts.
1:22.0	Because he made us to fall in love with him.
1:25.0	And that's my prayer for all of us tonight.
1:28.0	One more step up the mountain, not of knowing more about God, but of actually becoming people who know God.
1:37.0	And we talked about that we do this when we discover the attributes of God.
1:42.0	And an attribute of God just catching up from last week is anything that God has revealed as true about himself.
1:50.0	So we're not deciding what God is like. God is revealing what God is like.
1:55.0	We're not the ones who are making it up as we go along.
