We have a busy show today. we have a couple of from Jets training camp that should not have Jets fans overly concerned, but are still worth keeping an eye on. We're going to talk about the next Jets who could be in line for

contract extensions after the team gave long-term deals to Garrett Wilson and Soss Gardner a couple

of weeks ago. But we're going to begin by talking about a different player who's seeking a long-term contract. That is a player on a different team, Washington commander's

wide receiver, Terry McLaurin. And if you're a baseball fan, you know the trade deadline passed

yesterday. So now we no longer are going to be talking about trades in Major League Baseball,

but trade talk is heating up in the NFL because longtime Washington commander's wide receiver

Terry McLaurin has officially requested a trade from that team.

And because of the Jets' current wide receiver position where you have Garrett Wilson and nothing

but question marks, there's been a lot of buzz in the media about the Jets potentially

being the team McLaurin gets traded to. And I'm sorry to upset you if you are hoping for a deal like this,

but it is very, very unlikely the Jets will pull off a deal for McLaren. Now, Terry McLaren is an

excellent receiver. The commanders drafted him in the third round out of Ohio State back in 2019, and he's been

consistent ever since he set foot on an NFL field.

His rookie season, he caught 58 passes for 919 yards.

Every year since that, he has been between 1,000 yards and yards and twelve hundred yards so a guy who just

goes out constantly puts up numbers now if you were only considering the year 2025 this would be a
